Having earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in economics (with honors) from Stanford University in 1977 and a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) in 1980 from McGeorge School of Law (University of the Pacific), Mr. Pfeiffer was admitted to the California State Bar in 1980 and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California.
          Mr. Pfeiffer is a member of the Contra Costa County Bar Association. He has served as a Board Member for the Family Law Section for the past three years.         

The national attorney rating service of Martindale Hubbel has given George W. Pfeiffer an "AV" rating, the highest rating for general ability and general recommendation given to attorneys.
